🟢 Easy: Children secretly shelter a nonhuman visitor
Movies: Bumblebee · The Water Horse · Earth to Echo · Pete's Dragon
Charlie hides Bumblebee in a garage in 1987. Angus keeps the creature that becomes the Loch Ness legend. Both children look at an impossible being and immediately decide the adults cannot be trusted with it. Fair.
Earth to Echo puts its alien inside a backpack while federal agents close in. Pete's Dragon gives Pete a dragon named Elliot and a strong reason to keep him away from hunters. The protection begins as secrecy, then becomes escape planning.
🟡 Medium: One character ages differently while decades pass
Movies: The Age of Adaline · Highlander · The Curious Case of Benjamin Button · Tuck Everlasting
Adaline remains 29 for almost eighty years. Connor MacLeod survives for centuries in Highlander. The Tuck family drinks from a spring and steps outside ordinary aging. Immortality sounds less glamorous once everyone needs a new identity again.
Benjamin Button has the reverse problem: his body grows younger while Daisy grows older. The category is not simply immortality. Each film puts one life on a different clock and watches relationships absorb the mismatch.
🔵 Hard: Music repairs a parent-child relationship

Hearts Beat Loud records a father and daughter before she leaves for college. Flora and Son turns a discarded guitar into a way for Flora and Max to hear each other without starting another argument.
Bruce Springsteen's lyrics help Javed explain himself to his father in Blinded by the Light. In Wild Rose, Rose-Lynn's chase toward Nashville finally bends back toward her children. None of the songs erases the damage. They give the family one honest conversation with a melody under it.
🟣 Tricky: A social invitation exposes hostile beliefs
Movies: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? · Beatriz at Dinner · The Last Supper · Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
George and Martha invite a younger couple for late drinks in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and proceed to turn hospitality into an endurance event. Beatriz at Dinner seats an environmental healer beside a billionaire whose worldview could curdle the soup.
The Last Supper has graduate students invite ideological extremists to dinner, then make murder part of the menu. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner forces supposedly liberal parents to confront their response to an interracial marriage. The shared table is a trap: nobody can leave without saying what they believe.
The dinner group wins for pure social terror. Monsters can be hidden in garages; a rich man explaining himself over dessert is harder to contain. Today's PixelLinkr puzzle lets game windows misbehave instead.
