Spoilers ahead: for the puzzle and the movies/games
This post assumes you've already solved the puzzle. It reveals all categories and their connections, and discusses plot details, endings, and spoilers for featured movies/games throughout.
Lost in London was performed and broadcast live into cinemas in one take. Woody Harrelson wrote, directed, and starred in it, which is an extravagant way to remove the option of fixing anything tomorrow.
Movies: La Bamba · Selena · The Buddy Holly Story · Back to Black
These films know the songs are doing two jobs. They document the career while reminding the audience what will be lost. Gary Busey performed Buddy Holly's vocals himself. Jennifer Lopez's Selena performance made the stage scenes feel less like imitation and more like a claim to the room.
Movies: Daylight · The 33 · Mine 9 · Thirteen Lives
Daylight gives the Holland Tunnel to Sylvester Stallone. The 33 and Thirteen Lives dramatize real rescues in Chile and Thailand. Mine 9 stays close to trapped Appalachian miners with dwindling oxygen. Underground, distance stops being measured in miles and starts being measured in air.
Movies: Lost in London · MadS · Utoya: July 22 · Fish & Cat
The unbroken shot denies the usual relief of a cut. MadS passes its momentum among characters during one increasingly diseased night. Utøya: July 22 keeps the camera with a teenager through the attack. Fish & Cat bends time inside the same formal trick, because one difficult thing was apparently insufficient.
Movies: The Jacket · The Tuxedo · Sneakers · Puss in Boots
The aha is sitting in the final word. Jacket. Tuxedo. Sneakers. Boots. Two garments, two kinds of footwear, and one title in which the clothing belongs to a cat with a sword.
The continuous-take group carries the most pressure, but the wardrobe group has the cleanest click. PixelLinkr is waiting if you prefer your formal constraints to accept controller input.
